Jason Hope Donates To Anti-Aging Research

If you were to talk to a thousand entrepreneurs and ask them what they feel the most important sector to work in is, many no doubt would point to the medical field. We are at a stage in the human experience where doctors are realistically looking at ways to offset the diseases that man has had to live with since we first began walking the planet. In fact, the medical field is willing to push their work even further and into the concept of combatting aging as a general idea. Jason Hope is the founder of Jawa and a futurist from the state of Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University before scoring his MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business. Now, Jason Hope is investing big in the idea that aging can be fought for good. Read more about Jason Hope at ideamensch.com

Jason Hope is the kind of entrepreneur that does intense research before falling in love with a concept and pursuing it with all that he has. For Jason Hope, that concept was the fight against aging and age-related illness. Diseases such as cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s are devastating and a plague upon the human condition. Hope doesn’t believe that we have to settle with and deal with those diseases. Instead, he turned to the SENS Foundation and decided to put his money where his mouth was.

The SENS Foundation is a non-profit research facility based in California. Founded by CEO Mike Kope and fueled by the work of Dr. Aubrey De Grey, the SENS Foundation is focused on using biotechnology in order to address age-related illnesses in their entirety. Hope fell in love with the life-changing work that the company was doing and decided that he had to network with them. After meeting with and talking to Dr. Aubrey De Grey, Hope would end up signing a $500,000 donation to the facility.

Jason Hope’s donation was announced at a Breakthrough Philanthropy night hosted by Peter Thiel of the Thiel Foundation. It was revealed that Hope’s donation would be used for addressing cures for arteriosclerosis, or the hardening of our arteries as we age.

CTG Comes For Lil Wayne’s New Album

There was some beef this week between Charlemagne The God and Lil Wayne when CTG openly mocked Lil Wayne’s new album on his morning radio show. CTG has a pretty wide reach in the hip-hop community. He is incredibly well known, especially for his radio show put on by iHeartRadio: The Breakfast Club.

Charlamagne Tha God is also a writer and has a book titled “Black Privilege” which ranked sixth in the New York Times of bestselling hardback nonfiction on May 7 2017. Another book he has written is titled “Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me”.

On The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God talks about upcoming issues and current events in the hip-hop community. He also features different artists and gives his takes on new songs and albums. This last week, with the long-anticipated drop of The Carter V, Lil Wayne’s latest album, CTG was not quiet about how unamused he was overall.

During his show, Charlamagne Tha God started to mimic the lyrics to one of the songs on the album, “Let it Fly”, a single that features famous rapper Travis Scott. CTG started singing along to the song using made up lyrics that showed how unimpressed he was with the hit overall. Fans were disappointed by this, as many were eagerly awaiting this new album and overall it has received mostly positive feedback.

Later in the week, CTG further explained himself in an Instagram caption that he posted on his personal account. The caption talked about how he actually thought the album was good and showed his high esteem and respect for Lil Wayne by saying how he thinks he is the GOAT (greatest of all time) and that the album in itself was not bad. He said that he simply did not think the album would be one of the hottest of the year, as many people on social media had predicted it to be. In his caption, he implied that he meant no disrespect and that he simply wanted to clarify his stance on it. He ended the caption by saying he does not care what other people say and does not wish to discuss it further. Refer to This Article for related information.
