About Guilherme Paulus
Guilherme Paulus was born in Sao Paulo in late 1940s. From his childhood life, he nurtured a dream of becoming a successful businessman, a dream that became a reality eventually. In the university, he took a degree in business administration and by the age of 20 years, he was working with IBM as an intern.
Guilherme Paulus started CVC in 1972 after meeting a friend who brought the concept of starting a tour company. Four years after starting the company, his friend left. Guilherme continued to steer the company in the right direction alone. Today, this is a multi-billion dollar business. Recently, he sold part of the company to Carlyle Group.
