After living in Los Angeles for many years, New York is still a bit of an adjustment for host-extraordinaire Ryan Seacrest. He moved to New York to co-host “Live” with Kelly Ripa, which he enjoys tremendously, in addition to his other multitude of pursuits. Seacrest is the producer of hit show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, host of a nationally syndicated radio show, and owner of his own lines of skin care and clothing.
For those wondering how on earth Ryan Seacrest can accomplish all of this, he shares a few of his secrets. Mornings begin fairly early, at around 6am with a quick shower, shave, and facial moisturizer application. He then consumes a matcha tea for the healthy things it contains, but follows it up with a coffee.
From there he checks the weather, a new habit since moving to New York, to ensure that his typical uniform of sweatpants, a t-shirt, a hoodie, and a pair of Uggs will be sufficient for his ride to work. Despite the fact that it’s a quick seven minute drive to work, Ryan Seacrest prefers to use a car and driver from the Upper East Side to work in order to take advantage of that time to catch up on some reading and news bits from overnight happenings.
The day is quite disciplined from the time of his arrival at the studio. Seacrest exercises great discipline in triaging requests as they filter in and only dealing interview requests or other things needing attention outside of his typical schedule after lunch. He finds he is more productive if he can use the first half of the day to focus on more immediate tasks and schedule additional items in the afternoon. One thing Ryan Seacrest always makes time in his schedule for is physical exercise. He finds it essential to balancing a full work schedule and hectic life.
Additionally, Ryan Seacrest endeavors deeply into philanthropic efforts through the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The foundation inspires youth through helping create an uplifting atmosphere in hospitals with the creation of broadcast media studios, known as Seacrest Studios, right inside the children’s hospitals.
From there celebrities, local artists, and hospital patients are all able to use the studios for creating music, talk shows, educational segments, and more. Read This Article for more information.
